Celebrating our 30th Anniversary
In August 1995, a group of Miata aficionados gathered to plot the formation of a Miata Club for Ottawa and Gatineau. By that evening, the Underground Miata Network was born.
August 2025 will mark the 30th anniversary of UMN and we will be hosting a major touring event in our home town. This event may be especially interesting for visitors to Ottawa as we straddle the border between Ontario and Quebec and have inherited both English and French cultures.
The Canada's Capital Miata Meet 2025 will showcase the beautiful scenery and interesting roads of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Participants will also be exposed to the rich history, warm hospitality, and delectable cuisine of our dual culture.
You are cordially invited to join us in Ottawa, Canada's Capital city, to celebrate UMN's 30th Anniversary. What better way to recognize the sense of freedom and the spirit of adventure that are the foundations of both the Miata and UMN.

Thursday 14th August, 2025
• 2:00 pm C2M2 sign-in open
• 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Welcome Reception Meet and Greet. Cash Bar.
Friday 15th August, 2025
• 9:00 am Driving Tours Depart
• 6:00 pm Group Photo with Miatas
• Free evening to explore what Ottawa and Gatineau have to offer.
Saturday 16th August, 2025
• 9:00 am Driving Tours Depart
• 7:30 pm C2M2 Banquet Celebration. Cash Bar.
Sunday 17th August,2025
• Sightseeing by Double Decker Bus. (Extra cost)
• Changing of the Guard on Parliament Hill
• Self Directed Museum visits
C2M2 2025 Venue and Hotels
The Home Base for C2M2-2025 will be at:
the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre
located at 200 Coventry Rd. Ottawa.
The Ottawa Convention and Event Center has been chosen to be the site for all major activities such as Event Check In, Tour staging, and Banquet. It is close to great shopping at St. Laurent Shopping Centre, only 4km/2 mi from the splendor of Parliament Hill, downtown Ottawa, and great restaurants only a short drive away.
Two hotels are co-located with this facility. There will be ample indoor parking to accommodate all our precious Miatas. A car wash area will also be available with a water hose and basic car wash supplies.
Room blocks, at a preferred price if booked before 12th July 2025, have been reserved at both hotels. Room bookings should be made directly with the Hampton Inn or the Courtyard Marriot.
You may wish to arrive by Thursday 14th August, 2025 as C2M2-2025 activities will start that evening.
