Social Get Togethers
C2M2-2025 would not be complete without opportunities for our Miata community to socialize, share experiences and make new friends. To celebrate our 30th anniversary, two Social Events have been planned:
Meet and Greet Reception - Thursday, 14th August, 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
• Light snacks will be served together with Tea or Coffee.
• Alcoholic Beverages and soft-drinks will be available for purchase.
C2M2 Banquet Celebration - Saturday, 16th August, 7:00 pm - Midnight
• Three course sit-down dinner.
• Alcoholic Beverages and soft-drinks will be available for purchase.
• The celebration continues after dinner with a 50/60s themed party.

This is an excellent place to stroll around during the day. However, some areas can get a bit rowdy after-hours and C2M2 participants are encouraged to be cautious during evening visits. From street food to haute-cuisine, the market has it all. Established by Lt-Col. John By in 1826, the ByWard Market is one of Canada's oldest and largest public markets. Within an area roughly four blocks square, you'll find museums, cafés, specialty food shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, pubs and more! Easily accessible from the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre.

Lansdowne Park is a successful urban renewal development that blends modern amenities, courtyards, heritage buildings and green space. This urban public destination, situated right in the heart of city offers programs on a year-round basis. It features events and activities for all ages and all seasons. Visitors are welcome to use the park daily from 5 am to 11 pm. Here you can find many of the city's excellent restaurants.

Elgin Street is an interesting and safe place to walk around in the evenings. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, burgers, Italian food, pub fare or something in between — Ottawa’s Elgin Street has it! A local favourite spot is Elgin Street Diner — open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! In the evening, some restaurants turn into cozy bars.
