W’UMN St. Sauveur Tour—Debbie Myers and Lydia Scolli—October 1-2, 2024
The W’UMN St. Sauveur two-day adventure on Oct.1st-2nd was awesome!! Nine cars (16 ladies) met at Place D’Orleans followed by a leisurely drive with some twisties to our lunch destination in St. Andre d’Avelin.
After a delicious meal, we made our way to St. Sauveur driving great roads while admiring some fall colors and beautiful scenery. We did some shopping at the Outlets at St. Sauveur before checking into our hotel. The accommodations were great and our group was warmly greeted. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Pub Saint Sau in the downtown area. At our hotel, we had access to a ‘party room’ where we could unwind after a long drive.
On day 2, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Dejeuner A.M. followed by shopping in some of the boutiques on Rue Principale. Unfortunately, the rain began and we decided to start our trek back to Ottawa. Our drive home was a bit drizzly but still pleasant with great roads. We crossed over in Hawkesbury and made our way to Cumberland where some of us stopped at the Black Walnut Bakery for some treats.
Maneuvering a convoy of Miatas in a small ‘touristy’ town had a few communication
challenges but regardless, we all had fun
