Spencerville—Mike Bernier and Barry Rowsome—August 1, 2024
On Thursday, the 1st August, we had 12 cars take part on the 2nd ICR to Spencerville this season. The weather was sunny, hot, and humid the perfect ingredients for Ice Cream. We all made our way to the Village Pantry to get our much-needed ice cream fix plus to pick up delicious Cinnamon Buns. We left from here to make our way to The Swan on Rideau but came across a road closure, we just followed the detour signs and we eventually made it back onto our route. The sunset was a fiery ball on our way to the Swan and heading home.
I would like to say thanks to Barry Rowsome (Group 2 Lead), Ron Buck (Group 2 Sweep), and Joe Du-Ponte (Group 1 Sweep). Since we were only 12 cars Barry was the Sweep.
