The weather was perfect as 16 cars met at the Mews in Manotick with a 17th joining in Spencerville. Given the number, there were two groups.
Group 1 departed at 17:45 arriving in Spencerville at 18:45 with Group 2 departing at 17:55 and arriving at 18:45, both groups proceeding south paralleling the Rideau River, skirting, Kemptville and proceeding further south on back roads to scenic Spencerville There, The Village Pantry was ready with cinnamon buns and ice cream.
The return was straight-forward working westward and then north on secondary roads that ended at the Swan on the Rideau. A closed road caused one lead, his GPS, and group to do a 10-minute loop de loop.
