There were 24 cars in two groups for the second annual Richmond ICR under beautiful conditions of 22 degrees with sun and cloud.
The speedy second group had virtually caught up to the slowpoke first group by the time we had navigated the twisties to the quaint village of Appleton. We passed through the sleepy old village of Ashton and we quietly snuck by the JTF2 Training Centre without being arrested (go figure) before arriving at the Food Stop in Richmond. Lida, in the ice cream trailer, welcomed us with generous cones and her dad served up delicious Asian food to those suffering from hunger pangs.
