Cornwall Road Warriors Father’s Day Car Show – Joanne Mckenna – 16 June 2025

Cornwall Road Warriors Father’s Day Car Show – Joanne Mckenna – 16 June 2025

Cornwall Road Warriors 2nd annual Father’s Day car show was represented by 11 Miata’s. 7 UMN members, 2 from 613 Miata and 2 local area Individuals not from any club. At 7am 6 UMN + 1 613 member made our way to Cornwall to meet up with 2 other UMN Miata’s. In a convoy we drove to the card show. Upon entering we all received a Loot bag full of goodies, including tickets for prizes to be won throughout the day and a voting card for best in show. 3 other Miata’s joined the group.1 named HellaCute from 613 and 2 non affiliated Miata owners.

It was a perfect sunny day for a car show. Due to city bylaws, we were unable to set up a tent HOWEVER we were given prime parking location under trees, so shade was available all day with some light breeze from the St-Lawrence River.

525 Vehicles entered the card show. Vendors there to promote their car related items, Entertainment on center stage and of course food vendors.

It took all day in different shifts for a person to view the whole car show, it was mesmerising, from Custom Bikes to Rat Rods, to Classics and lots of muscle cars. There was a car to everyone’s liking.
I want to Thank ALL the participants who joined, Members and non members. A big shout out to the Executive for sponsoring the “Best Mita” trophy. When trophy was presented the UMN was mentioned and how I had brought a group of Miata’s to the show.

Best Miata winner was a non member from Cornwall with his fully restored supercharged 92 Miata. UMN member Bill(William) was shocked to receive 3rd place in Best Vintage – 25 years or older with his 97 M-Edition Marina Green Micra. This Miata looks like it came straight from the showroom with only 33miles on it! Congratulations to both.

Pictures and videos are posted on the website and on our Members Only Facebook page
Quote of the day “Miata’s are such Happy looking Cars” I see a slogan for a t-shirt coming soon
