Well, it was another near-perfect ICR. Great weather, great roads and a great gang.
We gathered at the Terry Fox Drive Beer Store but it was undergoing some road work (read gravel) so we switched parking lots and it turned out better.
Group 1 departed on-time in an orderly fashion and no one got caught by the speed camera on Terry Fox just before Old Second Line Rd. The roads were mostly smooth asphalt with Old Carp Rd and Stonecrest Rd being twisty and interesting. As always, the drive around Constance Bay was serene with wonderful views and we turned more than a few heads as we cruised by.
We descended on Carp Creamery and filled every available parking spot and caused a line out onto the sidewalk! Ice cream was good as always. Many comments were received on how lovely Constance Bay was, how people hadn’t been out that way in along time, what a nice drive it was…. All-in-all, a great ICR.
