Nine cars practiced this rain-or-shine event. In downpouring rain and thunder the group
met at the C2M2 Home Base. Due to Mother Nature we delayed the starting time. There
were some CB communication challenges along the way but nothing the expert drivers
could not solve. With only 9 cars we stayed as one group. It stopped raining as we
arrived at Beau's Beer. Some enjoyed a sampling board and some purchased some
local beers for later. After Beau's the clouds cleare, and we were able to drive “top
down” to reach our next destination— St. Albert's Cheese. We had the opportunity to
get a private tour of their plant, shop in the store, and enjoy some lunch and of course
ice cream. The drive home was ideal weather. The overall drive was good but was met
with of course construction, and a few rough roads.
